to fast food
One of my favorite shows is Bob's Burgers, an animated TV sitcom about the Belcher family who run a small burger restaurant. While practicing different elements of visual identity and rebranding campaigns, I took inspiration from the show's titular restaurant.
This is one of my favorite corners in my e-portfolio.

The Starting Point
On the show, the restaurant serves its food on plain white plates, and if a to-go bag is ever used it is always the traditional brown paper bag. Of course, the restaurant from the show is also a sit-down place.
My goal was to create a fast-food chain identity for Bob's Burgers that still reflected the same personality and basic identity that fans know and love.

In the animated show, the menu is relatively simple with only seven items. These include a choice of a regular burger, a cheeseburger, or the special burger of the day (which is written on the chalkboard in the restaurant and changed daily).
On my menu, I chose to keep it simple and choose one special burger recipe from the show to be the menu's staple "special".
Of course, I didn't want to skimp out on punny names like the show favors. After extensive food and drink pun research, I decided on "The Big Brewbowski" as the punny title for a Bob's Burgers branded beer.
Another sneaky change I made from the original menu to the final one on the left was taking salads off the menu-
in other words, the salad got tossed.
(hahahahahahaha)
