The Sister
While her step-sister Eleanor is courted by the charming Prince Llyr, the timid Adele’s own chance to thrive in noble society is interrupted as she is forced to act as a pawn on the behalf of the warmongering Prince Cyril and the cunning Princess Charlotte in a violent and increasingly desperate succession battle.
As a writer and filmmaker, I've often heard that it's impossible to be original. This story is an attempt to take a household story (Cinderella) and then transform it from a fairytale to a period drama with no happy endings. I also wanted to give the "ugly" stepsisters a chance alongside Cinderella.
